Hoping somebody out there can point me in the right direction - I'm trying to find a video for my GCSE pupils to show them modern electronics manufacture and assembly techniques, including surface mounting techniques - but anything would be of interest. Searched the net in vain so far......

Not actually relevant to your question but it would be nice to think that our august Beeb would have had a lot of stuff in their back catalogue. Probably not. Last thing I remember 'em doing in this area was an excellent Horizon programme in 1982, something like 'The coming of the microprocessor'. They also did an OU prog' on making transistors. (don't know the year but the guy had flairs and a kipper tie. :-) regards john
