Storing Alkaline Button Cells

I got ahold of a few LED keychains that each have two 1.5V button cells. My guess is that they are alkaline.

I want to store these button cells for future use.

What's the best way to store these to keep their charge?

In the refrigerator? In the freezer?

I keep lots of alkalines in the freezer - they last a LONG time in there. What was it, every 10 degress C changes the activity up or down by a factor of 2 so going from 25C to -10C is around 11 times slower. Good idea to put them in zip-loc bags to prevent condensation.

Whats the big worry though as you can get A76 button cells from Digi- Key for cheap - 38 cents last time I bought some.
