What parts would have to change if I were to use +/- 6VDC instead of
+/- 12VDC, and use a 4 ohm speaker instead of an 8 ohm one?Would it still work if I use +/- 3VDC?

Change the 10k on the final to 4.7k (or lower, for the +/-3V version). The circuit is going to have considerable crossover distortion, particularly as frequencies go up and the slew rate across 0V increases. But it's a teaching web site, and you'll learn something.
