As I understand it, 212* is not hot enough, But, I know one business that adds antifreeze to the water to raise the boiling temperature. This allows them to deform the PVC pipe for their need. I don't know the mix ratio. That said, you would need a form to bend the pipe around and then, I don't think you would have success keeping the pipe round, I think it would collapse in several places. Mikek
I've bent PVC conduit freehand with a propane torch for heat, have not tried using a heat gun, but that would probably work even better.
warm it until tacky and to goes like a garden hose, it's bendable but stays round unless you try a bend less than ballpark 20 times radius
