That is the antenna port for a wireless Internet Hotspot, a CLEAR SPOT
4G APOLLO. Any fitting retail antenna for that?
Or should I move the device to the same location as an antenna? That would require extending the charger cable, and maybe adding a bypass capacitor?
I have a very sensitive receiver at my PC, so distance from the Hotspot is not an issue.
Thanks.

Lots of the wireless stuff uses the MCX or MC connectors when its on the board like that. The MCX are tiny, not sure if they are the same. Mic them up and see. These guys may have something

I don't recognize that RF connector. Here's the FCC link for the device's test report. Page 5 has a much better picture of it.

The FCC ID # is: Grantee code: MXF followed by Product code: WIXFMM-122 You can enter that number here:

Good luck. Looks proprietary to me. As is should be, since changing out the antenna is not permitted, and therefore, not to be encouraged by the manufacturer (by providing more common connectors).
Enjoy.

I don't know why that happens with the FCC web site. To me, just looking at the URL, I don't see why it wouldn't work as a link (it's what shows in my browser URL bar). If it had a java session ID or something like that, then I would obviously know better than to post it....
Anyway, the 2nd way I described to get there does indeed work. (Having been burned on this before, I thought it better to include both way, just in case - turns out I was right)
Enter MXF in the first box Enter WIXFMM-122 in the second box, then click search
When the results pop up, click "detail" on the first result. Then, the document in question will be the "internal photo" entry, which it 8th of the 15 entries returned on that page.
