Trigger via RS232

Hi all, i need to use a Perkin Elmer Strobo lamp MVS4100



this lamp need a +5V, 20mA,10-100=B5sec pulse to be triggered via the 9pin connector.



Do you thing is somewhere avaible some hardware that i could put between the Lamp and the Personal Computer (via rs232) so i could controll by computer(via software) the trigger?.

Sure, just take the handshake signal, DTR or RTS

. If your using a frame grabber card attached to the PC, they usually have a TTL line to trigger the strobe.=20
