Likely so, but MS and some other huge companies are racing to market soon with hi res video gesture control technology.
It could be interesting, like when mechanical mice and then optical mice and then wireless mice were developed and became common place.
Then again it could be like back in the 80's when sales wags kept saying it was going to be the "year of the LAN" over and over for several years before LAN's really took off.
