Got a new PC, so I'm in a week of hell. Just got usenet to work. One of my guys took a week to just get me here.
It's an adorable little Dell tower,
and runs LT Spice about 20% faster than the 40-pound gaming beast it's replacing.
We could run a Spice program and compare speeds. A switching regulator or something slow.

Was that the sole reason for the upgrade?
No. The old ones are 40-pound beasts, hard to move, and were assembled by a local shop. They are messy and fans have failed. Basically a gaming machine with a tiny mother board and a gigantic GPU.
The Spice thing was a pleasant surprise.
