Hi. is there any way to simulate 3 button presses with just one press ?
I want to simulate button press on some standard mobile phone and to do this i was planning to pull the lines from the mobile phone "call" button, and hook it up to some electronic that would have just one button.
Shortly i want to press the button just ones, but i was planning to trigger three steps. Wake up the phone from stand by, choose the number, dial.
Ideas ?
Assuming that you can, indeed, get at the switch contacts (they're pretty highly integrated), the conceptually simplest way to do this is to make a circuit that generates three pulses from your button press, and use those pulses to actuate a relay.
You could do this with three 555 timers, or a 555 and a 74HC76 flip-flop, or about a bazillion other ways.

Isn't that what the button on the hands free earpieces do? I've never actually used one. Does it just answer or hang up the phone? I kinda figured they had a way to do calling out as well. Maybe not...
the same button 3 times or 3 different buttons ?
if 3 different I'm thinking LM555 and CD4017 then three transitors driving three different relays. off outputt 1,3,5 of the 4017 output 6 does something that stops the 555.
It's all good, Homeland Security is already tracking him.
