Schottky Diode/Fuse Reverse Voltage Protection for Silicon IC ?

Jan 30, 2008 0 Replies

Hello,

is a schottky diode/fuse combination a valid method for reverse voltage protection of a silicon IC such as the On Semi MC3423 crowbar or are silicon ICs typically too sensitive to the resulting clamped reverse voltages ?

Thank you,

DH
