The one in NYC might have been the first to go, because the land under "Radio Row" was bought up to build the World Trade Center in 1970. The only store I know of that relocated (but others must have relocated too) was Edlie's Electronics, which moved to Long Island. They finally closed about a year after the WTC was destroyed.
