Same here. I sent several messages to snipped-for-privacy@teranews.com and they didn't bother responding. Their system status is dated Friday, 22 January 2010

Changing to a paid user takes effect in about 10 minutes, and works (as you see).
Well, sort-of; they DO have a restrictive number of lines for a post. "Eventually" does not cut it. The way i read their text on their site,it sounds like "NEVER,do NOT hold your breath".
What is a block? I signed for the 7.95/mo.
ES has been fine for yonks.
