OT: Single family home zoning laws now abolished in California

Depends on where you like it HOT or COLD. San Francisco is just too COLD living on the street. LA might be OK.

I like it. I researched America and moved here.

Toll booths in financial district? Really? I never go there so I can't verify that.

Electricity starts cheap but increases in tiers, the top being 30 cents. We just barely touch the top tier some months.

Our gas+electric bill averages about $150 a month, mainly because we have no a/c and use very little heat.

Not yet. They are studying for a proposal to reduce traffic.

Of course, there are not much traffic for the moment. But city planners have long visions, especially for raising money.

$150 a month is my average *WITH* heating and cooling. It must suck to know how you are being ripped off on the price of electricity. Now I know why you are opposed so vehemently to EVs. You can't afford to charge one. Even here in Puerto Rico electricity is only $0.25 a kWh.
