multilayer power inductors

Hi

Does anyone know how chip multilayer power inductors compare with more traditional wirewound shielded types?

I am wondering about shielding effectiveness and losses in a 1.4MHz ~500mA buck converter application.

Does anyone provide good data for the multilayer ones?

"multilayer power inductors":

"shielded wirewound":

Thanks,

John

Lower Q, lower saturation current, lower inductance, but better price:

Nice, where does one get Sunlord inductors?

Thanks, - Win

Nice little presentation, thanks!

(Nothing about magnetic emissions though.)
