"Multicopter" motors.

Can somebody identify the electric motors (I assume they are COTS) used in this device:

Thinking of a different more conventional application.

Brushless, sensorless, "outrunner" motors as used in model aviation. They look a bit short and fat to be the usual big outrunner (short & fat = more torque for the weight, if less power), so they may be special order or cut-down from larger motors. But maybe not.

Try Plettenburg, Axi, eFlight, or just search on "brushless outrunner".

I know that Maxon Motors makes some very small examples of these, but they're very wimpy compared to the usual model aviation motor of the same size.

I don't think that these are big enough to be the motors used, but the aspect ratio is similar
