More on cracking the 433.92 MHz light remote (project completed).

It now can also send the commands via the serial port RTS line. This line goes to +12V and the transmitter module delivers considerably more power that way. A diode is required so when RTS is negative the transmitter does not see a negative voltage. Also I find the system to be much more reliable when called with nice -n -19 lremote -s command Because on a multitasking system this way the timing will be much better.
