I used to get a $30 doctor visit, and if I needed an x-ray, it was the DOC taking me down to his basement and giving me one.

Doctors used to be satisfied with actually treating a group of folks they got to know. Now, they "like" the "new" "business model" that clinic style settings offer, and the care to the patient goes out the f****ng window. Good job, doc(s). You money grubbing hypocrites.

Power companies are found "criminally negligent" years ago, and yet no charges have been filed to date.

Landlords jack up rent every year without any laws to stop them, and realtors get too goddamned much when you sell your house.

Salesmen get way too f****ng much too. At least when the workers that are actually designing and putting the products together get next to nothing for orders of magnitude more work.

And the fucktard banks that USED to make their money off interests, now charge for every piddly little thing they can lay there "Bill Gates School of Suck Mo Cash" mentality filthy hands on. They are behind the property developers because after they suck away all the working folk's money, they all get to buy a new Cadillac with what they sucked out of our wallets.

Why does it typically require a minimum of two incomes to support a household these days?

Because we "globalized" the economy Americans have to take a step down on the ladder so some polynesian dude can have a DVD player in his hut?

Over here we say the same about cars made in the US. Chevrolet is putting explicit 'Designed for europe' messages in their commercials for a good reason.

Over here a BMW is regarded a very high quality car that will last many years / kilometers.

True, but a camera chip doesn't have that same problem.

My cheap Dell lcd seems perfect, except where I squashed that bug. Older laptop screens seemed to have a bad pix or three, ogten bright, but yield seems to be improving.

I wonder how many Polynesians it took to find Hawaii and Tahiti and those other little pinpoints of land in the Pacific?

D'ya suppose any of them found their way to the continent? I saw some Mexican stand-up comic, who was kinda fat, say that he had got an acting role playing a Hawaiian guy - he said, "Hawaiians look just like swollen Mexicans!"
