I told one company that I could save them $10 per electric meter, and I wanted $1 in return. They said "No, but would you like to be a consultant?"
I'm still in business, and they're not.
The other popular trick is that we all sign an NDA, I design something cool, they do a lot of research and find "prior art", and they copy my design. Silicon Valley companies are notorious, especially L** R*******.
It is thin. Mikes at 35 mils. 50 on the board, hand-soldered down. It will be less in production.
It's actually pretty fast.
That shuts down the pulse generator if the user tries to fry the resistor.
