Load switch SSR?

Are there any regulations (reason) regarding the location of a SSR?

Namely can it be located after the bridge rectifier (cheaper easier).

Or does it have to be located before the bridge (bidirectional).

Schematic is here.

I have DPST after the fuse, line filter, and TVS. The dpst is there for when the unit will be off for extended periods (i.e I'm away from home for an extended period).

thanks
