Led's Parallel Serial

I thought it was facinating how well I've seen identical Led's even up the voltage current spread. I have made two arrays. One of 16 small Led's, and one of 9 5 watt Led's. The last one is 45 watts. One inch square. I can see how the high current can equalize through the wiring drawing over 2 amps, but with the little Led's, it partly amazing how well matched they are. I suppose different runs might have problems.

My orginal thoughts were looking at these Led's varying a very slow control voltage from extinction to full brightness. However, I'm going to try and pulse 3 amps into these 3 by 3 matrix Led's, 65 watts, at a very high square wave frequency, something like 10 kHz. I don't know if the speed will affect the voltage and current spread.
