Hi,
I was just wondering if it is possible to take apart a laser range finder and connect the laser to the input of a fiberoptic coil and then connect the output of the coil to the rangefinder photodiode? If the coil length is
100 meters, and it is rotating in the direction of the light travel then the reported distance measurement should be proportionately less? Or is it the frequency of the light that will change? In that case using a phase comparator range finder would work I guess?
cheers, Jamie
