Hardware Neural Network

Hi all,I'm a university student, and I'm realizing a research on artificialneural networks. The aim of my research is the feasibility of puttingan artificial neural network on a microcontroller or a DSP. Because ofthe sigmoid function, I think that would be necessary a 32-bitmicrocontroller (or DSP) for floating point operations. I wassearching online but I only had found exhaustive informations onsoftware realization of ANN's, but it's not what I was searching for.Does someone have any hint or any previous experience on the hardwarerealization of an ANN?I think the better solution is the DSP, due to its power on floatingpoints operation, is it right?Here are some details of the network:5 or 6 inputsabout 10 neurons in the hidden layer2 outputsThanks in advance,Daniele.

Indeed we screw up plenty of times, but you sttill trust the train driver, or bus driver, although you very well know accidents happen because of human errors.

The neural nets (humans) also prevent accidents by not 'logically' (as in and or xor) behaving sometimes.

Is not that contest with self-steering cars for a million $ prize written out by DOD also using neural nets? Not sure. Lemme google
