Got some TCM3105 from ebay.
Tested those:

with the normal 4.43 MHzxtal, and also with a slightly higher frequency xtal.
Makes a nice sinewaves too, in this picture it is local loopback.
It is actually a very nice chip, will use it for telemetry over 5.8 GHz audio link from model airplane. The flight data will be embedded on screen on the remote control video monitor..
Chip was not even expensive on ebay. More surprized it works so well :-)
