Generate 1 MeV at home.

Hello,

Well, I've been studying Wimshurst Generators, and some other electrostatic generators. It became very obvious that the production of

1MeV could be done very cheaply. This is a reference link that covers many different designs produced over the last few hundred years.

And here is are a couple of even more relavant links to help you understand my device.

This device works using PVC and conductive sections of pipe to accomplish the same task as a sectorless Wimshurst Generator, using distilled water, and a utility pump of 1/4 Hp or greater. Water, is a good dielectric, and each section of metal pipe can easily be coated with fiberglass, or acrylic resin to build up a thick electrically isolating layer. The Venturi Effect, will drag water from the water filled loop around the circumfrence of the device. If the pressurized high velocity outlet of water become laminar, the velocity of the fluid through the ring is then equal to the velocity of water through the straight section of pipe. Other than that, the two neutralizer bars are not connected to each other, but work independantly. The diagonals do not intersect, and are both well electrically isolated. 22.5 degree bends could have been used, except for the pump inlet and outlets. In design plan, reductions of placed into the pipes to fit the pump's outlet, and inlets. But, no reductions are used for the diameter of the loop. The concept is built on utilizing common PVC pipe fittings. The electrical connections and/or brushes made of metal, can also be placed on the outside of the plastic/PVC pipe, as an anticorrosion measure. Electrostatic Generators come in two classes, influence machines, and friction machines. They both tend to work about as well as the other. Therefore, a conductive tape can be used over the plastic, over a metal pipe in contact with the water in motion. This is the fluid equivalent of a Sectorless Wimshurst Machine. Properly burried in dielectric materials, will give you a much higher voltage with much less effort.
