What I have said is that there are a few really good electronics designers here that I am grateful to know. People who are good at electronics design necessarily have a range of interests.

What are your interests?

The problem isn't too few people in my life, it's too many. Some people talk constantly, whether they have anything to say or not, and that bores and annoys me. I go away when they are at their worst. I do like to talk to people who have ideas about forces and things.

I have a few favorite movies, but just a few. Most are drivel, as most music is noise. I used to get a thrill from music, as most people seem to do, when I was a kid, but that faded away as I got older. Really, music is a strange human appetite. It must have an evolutionary function, but I don't know what it is. Maybe it's a tribal nucleus.

Only a little, selectively autistic, definitely an asset. My wife is a speech pathologist, an expert on autism, and she married me. I have deliberately shaped my personality to be good at electronic design, and that worked out pretty well. I should teach that.

Cows are all pretty much alike, but people are all over the place, which makes human civilization more successful (and more fun) than cow civilization.

You are again ranting about personalities, which is mostly what you and too many others do here, cursing and shrieking and insulting and threatening most everyone, which IS psychopathic. Why live like that? I don't think you have ever posted about something you have designed. Please do.

Analysis of electronic systems is pure science. Design is almost pure emotion and personality. So, both matter. You need a design before you can analyze it.

Why are you obsessed with autism? People mostly have the brains and bodies that they were born with, so why blame them? Except for the occasional frank defect, evolution has shaped human society to provide a diversity of skills, farmers and people who make arrows and people who shoot arrows. What you call autistic can have a useful place too.

Why does no one mention John Fields? Have not seen any posts from him in a few years either. He probably gave up on the cesspool sed is.

There are many still here that are on that list.

The 'uncool' behavior some notice in the group over say the last decade has actually infiltrated all groups. Kids no longer actually 'get raised'. At least not by their actual parental units. Being an stupid asshole apparently is no longer a character hit. And a lot of adults jump right on board.
