Huh...what luck..The chip I want to temp. measure has one NC pin. Datasheet says "In addition, all terminals are fully protected against up to 4 kV of electrostatic discharge." So...I'll assume that includes the 'No Connection' pin. The mystery NC pin :) Where it goes...nobody knows.. :P
Hopefully it's just to ESD diodes and nothing else. That way I can monitor the diode current with the chip running.
Bummer...I have to order another chip to test.. Still cheaper than a thermometer. :)
