Coils and magnetic fields

Hi,Question # 1:I am trying to measure the magnetic field in Tesla or guass ( 1 tesla= 10,000 guass) created by helmholtz coils. The magnetic fieldfrequency is between 75 to 100KHz. The area that I am trying tomeasure the field in is 19" long x 10 inches wide and 12 inches high. I came across two options and I need to know which is the best way togo and why?Option A : Magnetic SensorThis sensor can give magnetic field in three axes. I calculated that1mV / V / gauss x 400 = 1.32 V / guassOption B: One turn loop coil.I made a 1" diameter loop from a 12 AWG wire with the electricshielding. Connect a BNC at the end of the loop and monitor the peakto peak voltage with the oscilloscope.I found the option B in the following paper ( page 7)Questions # 2:Currently I am using a coil that I made by myself using a 36 AWG wire( 18 turns , 1.1 diameter, 12u H, 24 strands, core : air ) with acapacitor in parallel. This LC circuit is resonating at 100KHz. WhenI put this LC circuit in the magentic field, the peak to peak outputis between 30 to 40 volts. Currently the coil weighs 6 grams. I wantthe coil size to be smaller and its weight to be lighter. But want thesame inductance and output voltage across it.I am wondering thatA. Is it possible that this coil can be made on the printed circuitboard? That might reduce the weight of the coil.B. If yes than will it be as effective as the coil that I mentionedabove? I meant its relationship the magnetic field.C. Can anyone suggest any online calculator or formula to do this onPCB?Thanksjess

Looks OK on my Linux system, using the Gnome "evince" PDF viewer. I see the same set of embedded fonts.

These days, the only time I ever use Adobe's Acrobat Reader is if I absolutely need to fill out a PDF form. For all other PDF viewing, I use open-sourced viewers - they're a lot lighter-weight and work better than Adobe's nasty bloatware.
