It's something I've been creating to allow "common folk" to script actions for the automation system I'm building. E.g., so you can say (pseudo-code):

if telephone_caller is aunt_betty then tell_her "I'm not home. I'll call you back"

Or:

if doorbell then capture front_door_camera for 20 seconds

Etc.

The point is, you don't want to burden folks who have never written a line of code (nor been able to "program" their VCR) with all sorts of complex syntax. Or, having to know about rounding error, cancellation, etc. in numerical computations.

Clicked on URL. Clicked on DOWNLOADS, showed a nice list [and sizes] of downloads, like .exe, .zip

Holding cursor over each entry shows the expected .exe, .zip, etc. BUT clicking on any of those [browser does a 'download contents'] but shows up as .html and does NOT get access to a download?! instead goes to the same advertising info regarding sourceforge, but no download. ok, then use the advertising info fromsourceForge to find TTCalc and could only find statistics on number of downloads, but NO download.

Any idea how to get a copy?

Read the screen? The adverts are there to amuse or bemuse you while the server selects a mirror near you.

Huh? Again, first page is a description of TTCalc [that is very informative], click on DOWNLOADS and get a great list of 'forms' of downloads including size of files, Then selct ANY form and off it goes to a page describing the 'benefits' of SourceForge and information regarding history of people downloading TTCalc -- but NO download and no way to select or start a download! Page shows 'complete' and still no way to download ANYTHING. Don't know which would be better for me, probably the Windows .exe version. Any EXACT URL to get that download version?

Exactly what is this 'magical' "download URL" you refer to, which doesn't show AFTER selecting a download?

when I click the windows installer I get a 5 second countdown then a downlo ad starts, and theres an optional direct link if that doesn't work.

It works though, made some nide audio files with test signals with it.

Could probably do it even faster if you could get maxima to use an nvidia cuda core.
