I've implemented similar anti-windup schemes (without the metaphysical reasoning); it works quite well for me.

I am going to amuse myself with a simple jig for measuring VAF...later.
Still around here, is he? I never see anything from him anymore unless he's quoted. Guess I need to cobble together a second-generation kill file that post-processes and removes the quoted stuff. All in the name of improving the signal to noise ratio, of course.
