Anyone has news of Jan Panteltje?

Jan Panteltje was a regular poster on this group, but we haven't heard of him since March last year or thereabouts. Does anyone have any news?

I hope he's still able to read it. The last thing he was playing around with if you recall was that high power blue laser.

Didn't he just post an article about generating a square wave at 100 MHz with a microcontroller and C code?

That's right... I just found it again. Last time he posted in it was in June of 2015.

Thanks,

No, Jan 29 2016.

Induction heater, carbon crucible. Question on induction heater power supply. I think there was a much later thread too, but don't see it right off.

Also note that Goldmine now has those same 48V 500watt supplies discussed then. Need two, to drive an ebay KW induction heater "ZVS board."

I don't think anyone has got a reply by email from him, so I'm digging a little deeper. I did a people finder in the Netherlands and found this page.

Looking on this page, anyone see a middle name that might be his? Also as I recall he did a lot of cycling, is that correct? Anyone know what city he lived in? In all his airplane tracking software, could he have posted his Long and Lat?

He posted his lat/long once, along with a jest that he's blown his location or something. I couldn't find it though. It may have been in a thread wher e he posted photos of jets taking off from a local NATO base?

He'd mung'd most of the lat/longs I saw in the several GPS-related posts I skimmed.

I think Jan's radioactive decay database was updated in May this year.
