Are there other uC companion ICs other than the Ramtron FM31 series and the Semtech SH3000 Microbuddy?
I like the functions of the Ramtron device but would prefer something with an SPI interface instead of I2C.
I Need a low power deevice with RTC / RAM / event counter(s). Watchdog reset output is a bonus. SPI interface is preferred.
Googling hasn't turned up any alternatives. I'm hooking it up to an MSP430F149. I know the MSP430F169 has I2C, but the price is quite a bit higher also. Any suggestions as to other devices?
