I have a question from the 16F628A datasheet:
after entering programming mode and issuing a Bulk Erase command, I can't tell if the program counter is still at 0000h after the bulk erase operation. But is it so? I assume it must be the same for most 16F devices.

Microchip has the programming specifications of its PICs available on their site. Usually the most reliable information. You will not need this informaton unless you're building a programmer. If that's the case you can't do without.
