Sounds like a lot of money to me. I guess they want to get into compound semiconductors and really fast stuff, Triquint sort of stuff.

Sounds cheap to me.
Considering that Google paid $3B for Nest, it doesn't sound outrageous.
I guess, interesting that IR sold off some of their low power stuff to Vishay last year.
