like paper,
indeed paper.
No. I'm willing to compromise a bit. I've mentioned some ways, already. A computer tablet can be priced in the hundreds of US dollars and still be worthwhile. It may pay for itself in reduced costs in buying books, if those books are actually available at a lower cost in computer readable form. It may actually require carrying around less weight and have some value, there, as well. Just as an example.
But I'm not shutting down my POD print shop, just yet. Things just aren't there, yet. I can almost 'see it' ahead, where I might find myself using a tablet _more_ than my POD system. And I'd like that.
with the mp4
Well, there are already plenty of systems in place out there for those purposes.
I thought we were discussing your own comment, which was (if you don't recall),
"Actually the laser and other printer era is over. The pdf and gif era is here."
Now you bring up things like cameras, webcams, video editing, audio recording, streaming to youtube???
A small bit of a change of subject, isn't that?
