600V; >100kHz halfbridge IC 'Chipset'. Which driver and mosfet?

hi !

i want to design a mosfet halfbridge which either switches up to 600V, or ground to the output. (being a halfbridge design) i expect the peak current to reach a few A. switching frequency will be a few 100 kHz.

i will controll all this by a microcontroller, so diagnosis stuff etc is fine with me.

i checked the product selector of IR, and found the IR2183, (600V integrated halfbridge driver with fault management) i guess this one would do,

and 600V mosfets i found irfp and irfbc families. irfp460 (500V,

270mOhm, 20A seems to be good and available)

which driver IC (family) would you recommend? which mosfet? do i need drivers whith deadtime management?

smd stuff would be best. and the cheaper the better :-)

is there an apnote for such a thing?

thank you for your help..
