24V 20A DC supply

Hi all just looking for options. This is for an induction heater that we have been running off of two car batteries. I've mostly been looking at Meanwell supplies. The SP-480-24 (SP-watts- volts) is ~$130. I was then thinking of two SP-240-12 for ~$50 each and stacking them in series. That is cheaper and we could use them for other things.

Is that Meanwell as in "means well, but goes bang"? :)

I see similar for $AU104 ($US77) delivered on Aliexpress.

I think there are non-genuine Meanwell branded supplies on the market.

Closer to USD 25 if you don't care about approvals and stuff.

Ugh, yeah, I was looking at 1000W, sorry (50V x 20A).

The link from Lasse looks like a meanwell knock-off, but it's hard to tell. I guess for a few bucks more I'd like to buy the "real" thing from a distributor. George H. (I can get an rsp-320-12 for ~$50 ...)
