Who's logo? Please help..

Hi, which manufacturer brands it's connectors with this kind of logo: (could be upside-down!)

XXXXXXX X X XXXXX X X XXXXX X X

I hope someone can recognise it from that scribling.. The connector it self "looks like an M16", but I don't think that's what it is.. It's a round threaded cylindrical connector with 19 pins and a blank hole in the center..

thanks in advance,

brgds, toppo

Hi,

have a look to those links, if you have found YOUR logo there, only click on it and you got the known info about it.

Hi, I've browsed through a couple of similar catalogs, but no luck.. It's darn close to the General Instruments IC-logo, but just not quite it..

but thanks anyway..

It looks to me, like the 'System General' logo. Taiwanese company, specialising in power management ICs. It's a sort of 'G', round a lower case 'S'.

The OP said connector, not IC.

What country is it from? What industry segment-- military? Can't you post a link to a decent high-res photo?

Thanks guys, the connector is from a remote control of a robot that joints sheet metal. I just found the specs for the connector from a catalog at

but the original manufacturer logo is still a mystery to me. So though it's now only trivial, loads of credit still up for grabs for the one who gets it right! =)

I'll give you all a 3 point hint: an actual picture of the logo =) :

...though I think Roger Hamlett already got it right - it sure looks a lot like the System General logo to me, but what's it doing on a connector then - I thought they were "IC-only"..

Here's the specs for the connector - just for the heck of it.. So if you have a bunch, feel free to throw one my way.. =)

Yes. System general though, have at times produced other parts, and had parts made for them. The logo is so like theirs that it is 'suspicious'.

Thanks guys, Yes - a binder connector it is - series 680.. It honestly took me the whole day just to find the picture in the firstplace =) Now all I need is a reseller. The one I found from here (Finland, that is) says that the ones with 19 poles can only be ordered directly from the factory, minimum 25pcs. =P
