When was the 68332 introduced?

Hi,

A customer of ours wants to know when the 68332 processor which we use in their product was first introduced to the market and I've been unable to find an answer.

I know that I used a 16MHz part in a design in late 1992, I have an instruction manual for a development board dated May 1992, and I've found a paper data book for the chip itself with a copyright date of

1990 (but no version number), however we were hoping to narrow it down a bit better than that.

I'm hoping someone out there used it when it first came out and can remember when that was.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, Martin.

Hi,

That's brilliant, thanks. Believe it or not both I and the customer had tried several Google searches and failed to find anything.

Martin.
