I've some TEK probes coming from the US which have the standard (well, your standard) mains plug, and it's part of the supply box so I cant' change it.
The best solution would be something like
but to your standard.
How do you call this?

I call that a, "power strip", but without an adapter converting the US mains plug to your standard mains plug, I don't see how a power strip will solve your problem.

your
it.
Thanks.
I guess I will be able to cut the US end plug and put in place my local purchased one :-)

Ok, if you do that, how is the power strip going to help you? I dont think you will need it. The only thing you need is a plug that will fit your power outlet. (Not to mention the correct voltage setting on the input to the scope power supply (110/220 VAC) if it is not auto switching... John

I guess there's some misunderstanding somewhere.
The probe has a power supply that looks like a wallwart with your US 3 pins plug. I can't change it (look at Tek P6046 probe).
The plug I'll cut and change is the one that powers the power strip, so that I'll have a power strip with N US outlets and one French plug. Pb solved. And that way I'll be able to plug all my US probes I'll receive soon.
Oh, and I obviously won't buy surge protected ones :-).
-- Thanks, Fred.
If the probes have a US style power plug, they very likely (almost certainly) require 120V, so you will need a step-down transformer to convert your 240V to 120V, and a US-style power strip to plug into the transformer, and into which you can plug the probe power supplies.

pins
that
No, they can be wired 120V or 240V.
-- Thanks, Fred.
I've always called the plug strips, but power strips seem to be the more generally accepted name.
