Windows Log In Question

I have my wife's computer set up so that, after some length of time of no usage, it logs her off, requiring password entry to get back in.

I did this when we had to deal daily with the autistic grandson to keep him from bunging up the computer.

We no longer need that "feature".

But now I can't remember how I did it or how to undo it :-(

What's the secret recipe ?:-)

Thanks! ...Jim Thompson

Autistic? Back in 2010 I met a young kid on a flight who described in detail the work he was doing in 'curing' autism. His group found that autism was more of a self reinforcing 'weakness' of the brain than a medical condition. He described how in autism the two halves of the brain are allowed to stop talking to eath other, or was it that they talked too much, can't remember now. But they used externally applied pulsed magnetic stimulation to the junction area [top of the head somewhere] as bio feedback method, and found that by training using short sessions per day, they could 'cure' something like 90% of autistic children. [sounds akin to correcting a 'lazy' eye, by first thinking of the body as a system and then using that system to correct itself] This kid said that the tendency towards autism is incredible, but most people don't go that path due to parental 'behavioural' training. [that ought to pile on guilt feelings, eh?] He said the behavioural training was actually a kind of a strong form of biofeedback if it was applied consistantly. What they were doing was enabling the person to do the training themselves, directly. Sorry, can't remember his name, but think he was MIT.

Sounds like a scam artist. Our grandson was diagnosed with autism at about 1 year old. He's now 20. ...Jim Thompson

Scam? Never even occurred to me. I had to really dig to get him to give me any details. I guess I got caught up in the description of the work, details of the research, and all matched my own perceptions os much. He didn't ask for money, rather asked about if any better instrumentation to control the magnetic pulsing existed. Everything he said matched stuff I knew. Just didn't occur to me to think in terms of a scam.
