In calculating the gate capacitance, hspice model uses
cgd = CF5 * cap * DD+
where DD+ is a so called smooth factor. The user guide mentions that factors such a G- G+ D- and DD+ are smooth factors and that they are not user defined parameters. What is the meaning of this so called smooth factor?
