Nothing so fancy. I just looked at the schematic of an analog filter and wrote the code.
Here's one, a simple 4-pole bessel in 68K assembly.
One engineer got absolutely angry when I did this. He was trying to do a textbook butterfly filter and the coefficients were unworkable.
