Not Molex, but the Micron i brought last year is not doing badly. The main reason i brought Micron is "Apple vs. Samsung". Up until recently, Apple was locked into memory contracts with Samsung. Memories are the biggest co st components and helping your #1 competitor make money doesn't make sense. It's like Ford buying GM engines for all their cars.
Sure enough, Apple is switching to Micron from Samsung for memories.

Not that I encourage this sort of thing, but if you follow the corporate aircraft coming to the SF Bay Area, you can see this stuff coming. The Micron plane has been a regular visitor for about two years. The VZW plane was also kind of obvious.
Intel just added another jet to their commuter fleet. From that, all you can tell is they are busier than usual rather than a new partnership forming.

Ford used to buy Delco radios from GM for their high end Lincolns. Their Bendix/Motorola/Philco car radios were crap.

Partnership between Intel and Micron could mean one thing: stacked CPU and memory die. Single chip PC would not be too far away. In fact, Intel coul d just buyout Micron and raise it's EPS by more than 10%.

Radio is not an important strategic part, but memory is. In fact, Samsung becomes #1 in memories and phones, with helps from Apple.
Apple could also buyout Micron or even Intel.

This article is repeating what i said two months ago, including why and how Intel should take over Micron.
