Does anyone here run SimH VAXstation emulation (or other SimH graphics) under current Raspberry Pi OS? Specifically under Trixie which provides Wayland rather than X-windows?
I have a VAXstation 3100 m38 configuration which works fine under Windows
11, or Debian on pc. It used to work fine on Raspberry Pi under Bookworm .
Upgrading to Trixie (or installing a clean copy), which uses Wayland, compiling a new executable, an running it gets to the point that it would create the graphics screen window and just hangs.
In theory I could revert Trixie to using X rather than Wayland, but I’d prefer to use the standard release.
Anyone know appropriate incantations to make SimH work under Wayland?
