Just emptying out obsolete kit and I came across this Xitel MD-Port AN1 which is basically a USB DAC intended for outputting analogue audio to the input port of a mini-disc recorder/player.
It is unlikely to be up to the standard of a modern DAC on a PC sound card (I assume) nor of a modern USB DAC but it did occur to me that it might be better than the on-board audio of a Pi.
I've checked and it is recognised by Mint so hopefully it will be recognised by the Pi.
Has anyone used something like this with the Pi?
