The KLK type fuses are rated for 600V, 100,000A interruption rating and are 1 1/2" long by 2/5" diameter (picture a 3/4 length AAA battery) and are available from 1/10 A to about 30A and cost around EIGHT DOLLARS a piece.
They're more expensive than the 200,000A interruption rating, larger, knife blade fuses using a generous amount of copper at the end blades, which cost around $2-5
Any idea why they cost so much?
