Hi, Having trouble with 2 Samtron VCR's. One is a SV C20, the other a SV C90. The C20 eats tapes when you try to play and the C90 plays fine but when you try to record it ejects the tape, sometimes it records. Is there something I can look to repair these? My thought is to try cleaning the heads. Thanks for any info,

Check the tape safety switch. You will see on the cassettes there is a little breakout tab that is for the safety. In the VCR there should be a switch that senses for this tab. The switch or the electronics that it feeds may be at fault. This is the first basic start.
