Need wiring diagram for Archer Toggle button Cat. No. 275-676

I have a red sqaure toggle button that is supposed to light up when engaged as well as provide power to some under body neons on my car. I've tried several wiring configurations, but I can't get the damn thing to work. Is anyone familier with this button? Or perhaps someone with experience wiring toggle buttons/switches could explain the concept to me? I have wires from my battery (pos and neg) and the two wires from the neon light. Any help would be much appreiciated.

The Radio Shack web site doesn't respond to this part number.

One side of the switch goes to the battery positive. The other side of the switch goes to the underbody neons, and to the 12-volt lamp or LED in the switch. (This connection to the internal light may be internal to the switch, or you you may have to jumper to it externally). The other side of the internal lamp/LED goes to ground (battery negative).

BTW. If the light inside the switch is a neon, it won't work. It must be a 12-volt bulb, or an LED with appropriate series resistor.

IIRC, for one style of switch RS sold, there are three terminals on the end, and two kinda on the side. The ones on the side are for the internal lamp. The ones on the end are to control the load.
