The chassis is A02U AA. I've got two sets that failed within 12 months. Both won't start up. The SSB's are OK. Any input is greatly appreciated. Philips no longer has a tech help line for non-authorized repair shops. Mark Affordable TV Repair
Mark: Be certain to check the flyback derived source B+ lines for excessive loading or shorts.... shorted diodes, shorted electrolytics, shorted vert defl chip, shorted audio power out chip, open low-ohm resistors, etc, etc, etc, ..... and of course, check the HOT, H driver xstr, and solder connections on the power resistors and transformers including the HDriver xfmr and flyback, and ESR check the primary and secondary electrolytics in the main B+ regulation circuitry. electricitym . .
