Hello,

Host developement environment mentioned for Monta Vista Linux(2.4.20) Consumer Electronics Edition(CEE 3.0) is Redhat Linux

7.2/7.3. I was wondering if I could use Redhat Linux 9.0 version as a host system. Has anyone tried to build MVL on Redhat 9.0?

Your feedback will be helpful while establishing host environment on redhat 9.0.

I bet it would work fine. Redhat 9 seldom has problems running older apps except for odd birds like wine and java that make too many assumptions about the threading library, and even then, you can turn on a compatibility mode and get things to work usually.
